What is the difference between a Leapmotor electric vehicle and an Ultra Hybrid EV?
A fully electric Leapmotor is powered entirely by its rechargeable traction battery and electric motor. It produces no tailpipe emissions while driving and is recharged using a compatible home, workplace or public charger.
A Leapmotor Ultra Hybrid EV combines electric driving with a petrol-powered range extender. The electric motor drives the vehicle, while the range extender can generate additional electricity when required. This provides electric driving for everyday journeys with added flexibility for longer trips.
How far can a Leapmotor travel on electric power?
Advertised WLTP range depends on the model, battery and variant. Current published figures include up to approximately 480km for the B05, up to approximately 434km for the B10 and up to approximately 510km for selected C10 electric variants.
Ultra Hybrid EV models also provide an electric-only driving range before their petrol range extender is required. Actual range will vary according to road and weather conditions, vehicle load, driving style, speed and the use of heating or air conditioning.
How do I charge a Leapmotor?
